So, I guess I'm not the only one who's fallen for this scam. My story is the same ad everyone else's, but I filed a complaint with PayPal, and 30 minutes later, I get an email from Stephen saying he'll call me.

Of couse ge didn't. I am done. It's not the money, it's the principle. May the Lord watch between me and thee, Stephen. One thing I feel certain of: a lot of "Christians" are going to be in for a big surprise thinking they're getting into heaven. Liars can't make it in. 129922f

"calling your bluff": I am shining the light of the Word on Stephen's ministry. And I am doing what is called "testing" - the Bible tells us to test everything.

I am not a prophet or an apostle of God therefore I do not have the same gifts that Elijah, David, and Paul had. And in case you have not noticed, only a few people a called and anointed to be apostels and prophets.

you and HG are similar. why do you pretend you know what you're talking about when you can't back it up? HG said he has brought down Satan's strongholds. I doubt it, when he has no power to stop Stephen's ministry. obviously because God is not with him on this. Paul, Elijah, David... these kind of men knew the power of God and were used to confront the enemy. they did not just talk about it which is what you 2 do alot of.

No human being has "power" on his own. There are 2 sources of "supernatural power". One is God (manifesting through the Holy Spirit and angels), the other is the demonic realm. The demonic realm is accessed at will through the human being...by using a 'formula" or a "ritual" or a "method" to cause a supernatural manifestation to occur. The God-ordained manifestation of the supernatural is completely controlled by God and in God's timing and for God's purpose. A Christian cannot just "use" the power of the Holy Spirit to prophecy on demand or on payment. Anyone who does this uses his own soul to control his spirit in order to tap into the supernatural occult realm. In fact no Christian should boast about his own power! A Christian used by God will be a person who is completely submitted to God's will and who has no poer of his own at all.

yep just face it HG - you're all talk. and more talk. nothing to show for it. like Paul said, his message was not just words but demonstrating the Spirit's power. you have no power against Stephen, and God isn't gona give you any. He doesn't agree with you.

You are mistaken Andre, very much so. You are just a "co-worker" like others that want to extract monies from people who are just too lazy to pray and spend time with God.

About power, no power is just at will to dispense as you lot claim and do, such power is from the occult and not from God. It is stolen from Him through Satan and his demons who have a part to fulfill in God's plan. There is only such a such time for this and it will come to an end at some point.

Do I believe in third heaven experiences? Absolutely, I do. The bible supports such sovereign experiences as in the example of Paul in II Corinthians 12. Do I believe in being physically transported? Absolutely, I do! But all this by a sovereign act of God, for e.g. Phillip was physically transported (Acts 8) from one location to another. So if it’s in the bible I believe it! I believe it all! Amen!

However, there is a HUGE difference between God willing YOU to have a certain sovereign bible experience, (like Paul or Phillip) as opposed to you willing it, or trying to make it happen, to duplicate it through mere human effort or merely through the exercising of your human or soulish will, in other words, “at will.” These bible experiences were 100% sovereign. They did not happen because these individuals willed them into existence or willed them to happen. God and God alone initiated them – He and He alone willed them. This is the very nature of a sovereign experience: God makes it happen when He wants, where he wants, and with whom He wants. Period! And they usually happened when the candidates or recipients least expected it. Why? Because these were sovereign events, not planned or initiated by man, but by God.

When discussing a sovereign experience there is a big difference between initiating versus cooperating. God INITIATES all sovereign experiences, the believer COOPERATES with them. Mix the two, crisscross them, and this can lead to some real doctrinal confusion and counter-productive measures.

It’s all about God’s sovereignty…

The critical issue with operating in the supernatural is: who is initiating what or who is “willing” what? Teaching believers that by following certain steps, teachings, formulas, and/or merely exercising their own human wills, they can duplicate any sovereign supernatural experience is dangerous and unscriptural.

One cannot go to heaven like Paul or be transported physically like Phillip simply because they or you want to, or because they feel like it, (at will). Teachings like this often cross over into dangerous methods and techniques that resemble new age, mysticism, spiritism or other occult manipulative practices. A believer cannot and must not force, manipulate, or otherwise attempt to reproduce a sovereign supernatural bible experience by merely following a method, a series of steps, or worst of all “willing it” to happen.

Whether we are discussing being translated in the spirit or transported physically, or any supernatural sovereign experience we read about in the bible, the critical difference between whether it is God or not is who “willed” it to happen: Was it you or was it God? If you willed it to happen, it ceases to be a sovereign, God ordained, supernatural, bible experience, and you risk experiencing a counterfeit. This is how you discern the occult compared to God's intervention in mankind. It's not ours to wield at will. Which is what Stephen Chaote does and many other false pastors and false prophets. What is left over then ? Right it must be coming from the false holy spirit or anti christ spirit to deceive. Absolute truth cannot be altered, but false pastors and prophets do all the time.

It would appear some people's spiritual beliefs guide them to listen to Stephen. Are you just gona tell them they're wrong and expect them to believe you?

This is what I meant about HG. He's all talk. He has no ability to back it up so he's not convincing. If you really wanted to prove that a prophet is not of God, I think confrontation is in order a la Elijah or Paul style. If you got no power, no one's gona believe that God is on your side. Your words are yours only.

If this guy was legit, he wouldn't need to advertise himself nor charge money for his "services". If he was a legitimate, sincere prophet, people would be flocking to him to hear his wisdom, and he wouldn't need to charge a fee because people would most likely be giving him plenty of donations.

I mean no disrespect to those who have attempted to use Stephen's services when I say this, and I understand that times can be tough so seeking wisdom from this sort of guy may feel like a good idea. But there is some irony here. The Bible states that there will be many false prophets, and yet people are willing to trust in a man who has to market himself and his alleged prophetic abilities.

If you need guidance, pray or meditate or do whatever your spiritual beliefs guide you to do. Don't trust someone who is charging money for spiritual snake oil.
